Today the Uncles Philip and Larry arrived. Greta profited heavily from their arrival with several presents. Despite that she asked during dinner why Grandma and Pop had to go back to America? We have witnesses! We explained that she will go at Christmas time, but that only lead to her wanting to take a flight immediately after dinner.... Perhaps you can understand the urgency by looking at this photo. Such an obliging Grandmother deserves the attentions of a three year old. All three year olds love horses don't they. Well, it is late and time to call it a night. All the uncles and babies are in bed and I think that I will head that way now myself.

We are a family of misplaced miscreants, but with a mom and now a grandma like that, hopefully we will all be home for Christmas! Now, when are the Uncles going to head this way to see me? :) It is beautiful, 130F, lots of sand, not so much water... Love the blog!
