It has been so long since I have posted a little message here. Things have been a bit hectic. Poor Greta came down with Salmonella and she really suffered for a good four days with a high fever and what seemed to be pretty wretched stomach cramps. Thankfully it has all passed now and she is acting and eatting like a normal three year old again. We have no real idea how it happened that she contracted it when we think back to her meals there had been nothing in the previous 24 hours that she had eatten that we had not also eatten, bt regardless she had it. Thankfully it passed. The only lingering memory for Greta is the applesauce that I made for her while she was ill. She HATED it last night even she asked me again if when I was a little girl if I liked cooked apples. When I told her that I did she didn't believe me and persisted asking if I liked them even when I was ill... poor Greta.

This photo was taken just this morning. The girls have on matching pajamas, Greta thought that it was just fanstastic. Grace seemed pretty happy about it as well. On her doctors orders Grace started with a little solid food this month. Her doctor said that she had not been gaining enough weight. I don't believe it but whatever. Anyhow, it is going slowly we started with the normal rice cereal. We found that she shares something with her Uncles Phil and Larry, a love for frozen yogurt. When we gave it to her she ate it and when we had decided that she had had enough she started crying!

That is about all of our news, at least the interesting stuff. We hope you are all well.

what?!? Hate applesauce, that is a problem. She clearly has not had Grandma's applesauce yet. Ahh the joys of foodborne illness - they keep me employed but parents busy.

Glad that Greta is feeling better! Poor wee thing! That can't have been pleasant! I love the matching pyjamas! Hope that the baby rice helps the weight progress...... all is well here - parents are visiting for a couple of nights and we went to the Rep for dinner. Speak soon!!
