Happy 15th of August. Here in Italy this is a national holiday celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Here is Fermo this day is celebrated with a Palio, or horse race. And a lot of people dressed up in medival costumes. We are hoping to go see some of it, at least the parade as it is probably the biggest event of the year here in Fermo. It all depends on how well our little Greta is doing. She has spent the last few days sitting on the toilet day and night.
Yes that is right yet another Greta stomach flu hit the Cavalletti
house this week. Thankfully after three and a half days of some pretty serious stomach discomfort Greta seems to be beginning to feel better. We are all very thankful as she looked pretty miserable. We celebrated by making her this new dress this morning. She calls it her ballernia dress, and even has the moves to match it.
She looks stunning, no?

We can't leave out our little Gracie, she is more gorgeous every day isn't she. We are so lucky that she is such a good girl, especially this past week with Greta being ill and all. I said to Claudio yesterday that if there was an award for the best behaved baby Gracie would win. I am sure she is storing it all up for a later point in life.

Since Dana continues to ask Claudio's knee is slowly getting better. It is obvious that it is going to take a bit longer that what we had anticipated. We are hoping that when he starts his physiotherapy this coming week he will see some improvement. Greta is calling me, I must go Hold her hand.... Buon ferraugusto.

Buon ferragosto to you too! I am glad to hear that Greta is feeling better and yes she does look adorable in the dress (and her mommy is obviously a good seamstress). I am sure she is going to break hearts!

Gracie is as cute as pie!!
